Welcome to FSD DANCE ACADEMY. We provide a fun, friendly environment for children to shine and feel confident through dance. Offering a wide range of classes from street dance to acro for children from 4 years and upwards. Our main aim is to encourage all our students to be the best they can be, focus on their strengths but without the pressure of exams or extra costs for parents.
Expect a lot of fun, a huge amount of sass and a drastic change in your child's confidence because WE LOVE DANCE and how it makes us feel!
FSD have been open 3 years now and have a great reputation and some fabulous dancers. Our students take part in an end of year dance show, dance festivals and community events to showcase their talents.
Tiny Tots 4-5 years
Saturday's 9am-9.45am (upstairs)
An introduction to dance for our tiniest of students. Focusing on movement,rhythm and musicality to build their confidence. This class will use ribbons, pom poms and of course lots of fun games with Miss Abbie.
Minis 5-7 years
Saturday's 9am-9.45am
This class is fun, energetic and great as a confidence booster. We work on routines whilst keeping it fun, dancing to age related music that they will instantly want to dance to and show off their moves at home!
Juniors 7-11 years
Saturday's 10-11.15am
Our junior group works towards choreographed pieces to songs they will love and want to show off their dance moves anywhere they can. Our classes encourage them to be themselves and do what they love whilst having a lot of fun!
Inters- 11-14years
Saturday's 11.20am-12.40pm Whether you just love to dance or are passionate about improving your skills. This class is performance based in a big group. They work on formations, a variety of dance styles, team work and showing of their individual skills.
Seniors 14-18years
Our seniors are a smaller group that have shown dedication to dance and have been with us a while. They are expected to know the disciplines of dance and work at a faster pace to pick up choreography and master techniques but also keeping it fun and with music they can relate to. They are also a performance based group.
Bend & Bounce 4.30pm-5.30pm
This class is perfect for those children constantly cartwheeling and twirling around. We teach the basics from level 1 through to level 10 acro skills. Adding tricks and partner balances into dance sequences, enhancing their flexibility and working on group performances.
Street dance fusion 5.30pm-6.30pm
This class is an hours worth of fun in a super vibrant atmosphere. Choreography to music that will automatically make you want to dance with Miss Ciara. This class is 8 years and upwards
Street dance- Aspley 3.30pm & 4.30pm from 7 years
We are super excited to announce our new premises in Aspley and will hopefully welcome even more young talent. Two junior street dance classes to choose from.
